Germano’s PIATTINI and RAR Brewing invite you take a break from the summer sun to share some Thursday night food and beverage fun in Germano’s bar.  Sample five small plates (“piattini”) from Germano’s David Rekoski paired with five stunning beers from RAR Brewing.

“Based in Cambridge, MD on the shores of the Chesapeake Bay, local boys started brewing local beers. Established in 2013, we built our brewery in an 80-year-old former pool hall/bowling alley with the goal of maintaining the buildings history while producing well balanced American craft beers 20 barrels at a time. Over the past 5 years, we have grown rapidly and become one of the most desired breweries in the state. We focus on hop profiles and strive to make them different every batch. From our crisp Blond Ales to our bold Imperial Stouts, our juicy IPAs shine to be what we our known for. Artwork inspired from the town of Groove City and slip on shoes, grab a friend and come to the shore. The best way to learn about wine is to taste a lot of wine. We’re here to help. Expand your knowledge of wine with our 20 for $20 wine tasting. We open twenty different wines for our guest to sample. Sparkling, whites, reds and dessert. Tasting open from 5 to 9pm.. Reservations highly recommended.

We welcome the members of the Williams Syndrome Association to Baltimore with a Little Italy Block Party on Thursday, July 12, 2018 from 4-8pm with al fresco dining, and live music on S. High Street.  Stilt walkers and face painting compliments of Big Whimsy. Dino Basso and his team members will offer bocce lessons to the kids. The children and the young at heart are invited to join artist Michael Kirby in creating a giant sunflower street painting.  Participating bands include the Ken and Brad Kolodner Quartet, Kings of Crownsville, Stone Hill All-Stars and Laura Norris and her Mando Kids. The celebration continues with Holland and Coots performing in the Cabaret at Germano’s from 7:30-9.

We invite you to dine with us al fresco during the Festival as the streets of Little Italy come alive with magnificent Renaissance and original 3d chalk masterpieces drawn directly on the street. Little Italy welcomes artists from around the world who will work alongside Baltimore’s finest professionals and emerging artists.  The spectacular 4 day festival includes live music, theater, art workshops and lectures, and delicious Italian food, wine and beer.
